LONGTERM EFFECTS OF HURRICANE HELENE – PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED ON HOW WE CAN SUPPORT YOU.
For many of you, life is starting to return to normal. For some, the impact of Hurricane Helene will be long felt. Employees are welcome to use showers at DPS, Maintenance, or the Custodial Hallway. If you need to do laundry, please check with your supervisor about laundry services at the Airport. Bring containers to fill at the airport, if you need non-potable water for home.
We still have miscellaneous supplies donated by the aviation industry to GARAA Employees.
- Call the Comm Center 828-684-4577 to coordinate pickup of: bottled water, tarps, trash bags, personal care items, etc.
- Let us know what else you might still need on a longer-term basis. We want to help! You can contact us here: HR@flyavl.com.
DID YOU BORROW A GENERATOR OR CHAINSAW?
If you borrowed a generator or chainsaw, just a reminder to please return these items when you no longer need them.
- Return chainsaws and generators to the Maintenance Building.
- IMPORANT: Do not forget to notify Janet (jburnette@flyavl.com) that you returned the item so she can mark it returned.
