The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (GARAA) is seeking an individual for the position of Maintenance Supervisor.  This position’s responsibilities include supervise all maintenance personnel and maintenance of all airport facilities.  Plans and coordinates all training and work assignments.  Requisitions all supplies and equipment required to maintain the airport.  Maintains airport equipment and facilities in good working condition.

Systems Administrator

The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (GARAA) is seeking an individual for the position of Systems Administrator.  This position’s role is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. This person will also analyze and resolve complex hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

Public Safety Officer

The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (GARAA) is seeking a Public Safety Officer.  Responsibilities include aircraft rescue and fire-fighting (ARFF), emergency medical response and law enforcement. This position requires working well in an emergency situation and must exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in completing assignments and handling difficult public contact situations requiring considerable tact and knowledge of airport policies, procedures, and programs. Basic Law Enforcement Certification (BLET) is required.

Custodial

Custodial Technician

The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (GARAA) is seeking an individual for the position of Custodial Technician. This individual performs routine work in cleaning of all airport facilities.  This position performs work involving cleaning and janitorial services.  Work involves the use of a variety of cleaning tools and cleaning agents.  Work includes the performance of routine, established tasks such as cleaning restrooms, collecting garbage from garbage cans, restocking restroom supplies, and cleaning offices.

Completion of high school or equivalent education required.  Experience working in the custodial field is preferred.
