Student Artwork Showcase

(Asheville, N.C.) 

The Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) Art Gallery is now displaying the annual Student Artwork Showcase. Talented students from across the region, ranging from elementary to high school, are welcoming visitors to AVL with bright colors and multi-media artwork. The showcase will be on display through April 14, 2020. 

The following schools are represented in the showcase:

• Asheville School
• Blue Ridge School and Early College
• Old Fort Elementary School
• The Franklin School of Innovation
• Tuscola High School
• Waynesville Middle School

This display is a unique opportunity for student artwork and WNC schools to be recognized by thousands of travelers daily. Each piece was specifically selected and submitted by the art teachers from the participating schools. 

"We love being able to connect with our community through showcasing many of the creative students of our region," said Alexandra Bradley, Brand and Experience Manager at AVL and curator of the gallery. "This special exhibit will be a treat for both locals and visitors traveling through AVL."
