(Asheville, N.C.)
The Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) Art Gallery is now displaying the annual Student Artwork Showcase. There are five western North Carolina counties and six schools represented in the exhibit this year. Talented students from across the region, ranging from elementary to high school, are welcoming visitors to AVL with bright colors and multi-media artwork. The showcase will be on display through April 22, 2019.
The following schools are represented in the showcase:
Brevard Elementary School
Hillandale Elementary School
Old Fort Elementary School
The Franklin School of Innovation
Tuscola High School
West Marion Elementary School
This display is a unique opportunity for student artwork and WNC schools to be recognized by thousands of travelers daily. Each piece was specifically selected and submitted by the art teachers from the participating schools.
"The art gallery is a wonderful way for both passengers and the public alike to experience a taste of our region," said Alexandra Bradley, Brand and Experience Manager at AVL and curator of the gallery.
Asheville Regional Airport's Art in the Airport program is pleased to feature an annual Student Artwork Showcase in its art gallery, highlighting the creativity of students across the region.
